Wavular

Sharpie on paper. That's it. I don't want to get carried away with colors and canvases and specialty drawing tools. Stuff turns into more stuff, art gets overly stuffy, and nobody can relax. I want people to relax. To feel air, space, and comfort.

Keeping my drawings simple is one way to say, "Hey, you don't have to have a lot to be a lot." http://www.flavors.me/wavular

8' Sharpie drawings

When you say to someone, "I made three 8' tall marker drawings on paper," it doesn't really mean much without a visual. This is the visual.

It's a portrait of Ethel Clay Price, the first graduate of the Watts School of Nursing. Which later became The North Carolina School of Science & Mathematics, the incarnation I got to know in 11th and 12th grade.

It's 24" x 96," Sharpie on paper.
